License Terms
Effective Date: November 3, 2026
Every product sold by KitStacks is licensed, not sold. When you buy, you get a license key and the right to use the product under the terms below. The software itself stays the property of KitStacks.
Regular license
- Use on the number of live sites shown on the product page (usually one), for your own business or one end client.
- You may change the code for your own use.
- Staging, development and local copies of the same site don't count toward the limit.
Extended license
- Use on the number of live sites shown on the product page (usually unlimited), including sites you build and run for your clients.
- You may charge your clients for the sites and services you build with it.
What no license allows
- Reselling, sharing, giving away or re-publishing the product or its source code, on its own or bundled, free or paid.
- Offering the product itself as a hosted service to other businesses (SaaS) without written permission.
- Removing license checks or sharing your license key.
Lifetime, annual and monthly licenses
- Lifetime: one payment; use the product and receive updates for as long as the product is sold. Standard support is included for the period shown on the product page.
- Annual or monthly plan: use, updates, downloads and standard support are included while the plan is paid. If the plan ends, the license stops activating new sites and you stop receiving updates and support.
Support levels
Standard support is included. Extended and Priority support can be added for 12 months at a time; Priority tickets go to the front of the queue with same-business-day replies (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern). Support covers installing the product, explaining its features and fixing bugs in it. It doesn't cover changes to the product, third-party plugins or themes, or server setup; those are available as custom work.
Third-party software
Add-ons for other platforms (for example Perfex CRM or WordPress) require you to own a valid license for that platform. Open-source components included in a product keep their own licenses, listed in the product's files.
Ending the license
A license ends automatically if these terms are broken, or if the order is refunded or charged back. When it ends you must stop using the product and delete it.
No warranty
Products are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, KitStacks isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
